Top 5 Ways to Get Involved
Our goal has been reached, but there are still ways to participate in the Campaign:
1. Donate: Make a financial contribution to the Campaign and help us finish strong!
2. Be a Go Getter: Our energetic teams of “Go Getters” are going and getting furnishings for the new shelter. These special finishing touches will truly make the house feel like a home. This is a fun opportunity to get your family and friends involved, so contact us today if you’d like to take on a room or rooms!
3. Shelter Exterior: We want the shelter to be a welcoming home from the moment a guest arrives. To do this we need fencing, a fun play structure, and appropriate landscaping. If you would like to be a part of this special effort to furnish the outside of the shelter, contact us for more information.
4. Independence Fund: Sustaining self-sufficiency is a vital part of reaching beyond domestic violence. That’s why REACH created an Independence Fund which helps survivors rebuild their lives with small and flexible funding to help individuals in the moment. Your donation to the Independence Fund could help someone recently out of an abusive relationship put a security deposit on a new apartment, keep up with utility bills, or send their child to summer camp. 5. Name a room in the new shelter in someone’s honor: Click here to learn about naming opportunities.
