REACH Hosts Convening of University Partners

On Tuesday, January 10, REACH was pleased to convene a group of local college and university partners who work closely with our director of prevention programs on each of their respective campuses. Bentley University graciously hosted the meeting, and representatives from Mt. Ida, Wellesley, Lasell, and Babson Colleges as well as Brandeis and Bentley Universities were in attendance. The goal of this first gathering was to help foster relationships between folks doing great work to provide programming on these local campuses, as well as share best practices and challenges with one another.

As the local domestic violence organization, REACH has been lucky to support this work and found that many of our partners are dealing with similar challenges while also creating unique and innovative strategies to support their campus communities and provide effective programming.

The meeting was a great success, and based on the group’s feedback we will continue to meet regularly throughout the academic year. We look forward to the future conversations and collaborations!
