Donor Advised Funds

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a philanthropic vehicle that may provide you with an immediate income tax charitable deduction while enabling you to support causes that are meaningful to you.

If you would like to make a gift now through your DAF, simply click the link below to find your fund:

During your lifetime, you can recommend a grant (one time or multiple times) from your DAF. These grants can provide refuge, education, advocacy, and change to survivors of domestic violence and help build healthy communities.

Tips for giving through your donor advised fund:

  • Ask your institution to include your name and address on the distribution. That allows us to properly thank you for your donation.
  • Be sure to specify how you want your grant used. Unrestricted donations are most appreciated and will be used ‘where it’s needed most’.
  • Remember that no goods or services can be provided for your grant. We are always happy to have you attend our events, but this isn’t the way to purchase your tickets.

Monthly giving is also possible through your DAF and most financial institutions make this easy to process.

Four Ways you can make an Impact with your DAF

Memorialize, honor, or commemorate a loved one or an event.

Avoid capital gains by first transferring appreciated stock to your DAF and then gifting it in minutes.

Teach your loved ones about charity and why you believe in giving back.

Leave all or a portion of your DAF to REACH simply by changing your beneficiary designation.

When you make a Donor Advised Fund gift, it’s possible that the sponsoring organization will not share your information with us. Please send a note to Maria Duffy at mduffy@reachma.org when you’ve made a gift so we can make sure to thank you and ensure that your gift gets to where it is intended.

Your fund manager will need to know the following: Tax ID No. 04-2735449, P.O. Box 540024, Waltham, MA 02454.
